Engraving renders the part like a woodcut or banknote: parallel ink lines that stay hairline in the light and swell heavy in the shadows, so the line weight alone carries the form. An old-world look that suits classic and heritage pieces.

How it sprays
Best laser-imaged from the exported separation — the swelling line weights are the whole effect. Base coat first, then the line layer.
Choosing colors
A pale base (bone, tan, light grey) with a dark brown or black line color reads most like ink on paper. Keep it to two colors.
