The heavy battleworn Cerakote pattern

Heavy battleworn is the most-requested distressed finish: a dark topcoat deliberately worn back to expose a metallic base on the edges and high spots, like a decade of honest use compressed into one spray session.

How it sprays

Base coat in the 'worn' color, topcoat in the primary, then controlled scuffing on edges and wear points before full cure. Order matters — the mockup shows customers which color peeks through.

Choosing colors

Classic combo is black over a silver or burnt bronze base. The base color is what shows through the wear, so pick it like an accent, not an afterthought.
