Black

Black is the workhorse of the Cerakote catalog — the most-sprayed family by a wide margin. The differences between blacks are subtle on a screen and obvious on a finished part: sheen, depth, and how much shop light they swallow.

Grey

Greys run from near-black charcoals to light stone tones, and they're the family where on-screen comparison pays off most — two greys that look identical in a bottle photo can be a full shade apart cured.

White

Whites and creams are unforgiving to spray and striking when done right. Film thickness shows more in this family than any other, which is exactly why customers should see a mockup before committing.

Brown / FDE

Flat dark earths, tans, and browns are the signature Cerakote family — the colors most people picture when they hear the name. Small differences in undertone (green-brown vs pink-tan) completely change a finished scheme.

Green

From bright zombie green to muted OD, greens anchor camo work and stand on their own for full builds. Undertone matters: some greens lean yellow, some lean grey, and cured results shift under sunlight vs shop light.

Blue

Blues range from navy so dark it reads black to bright electric tones. They photograph beautifully, which makes blue jobs some of the best portfolio material a shop can post.

Red

Reds are statement colors — crimson full-builds, candy-apple accents, and the classic red-on-black two-tone. On screen, compare them against black hardware to judge how loud the finished part will read.

Orange

Oranges live in two worlds: safety/hunter blaze for visibility, and burnt copper tones for style. Both benefit from a mockup — orange is the family customers most often imagine differently than it cures.

Yellow

Yellows and golds are rare enough on finished parts that they guarantee attention. Corvette yellow full-builds and gold accents on black are the two schemes this family carries.

Purple

Purples cure darker than most customers expect — the single best argument for showing a mockup first. From deep plum to bright violet, they pair naturally with blacks and greys.

Pink

Pinks run from soft rose gold to full magenta. They're consistently popular for personal builds and gifts, and they photograph well against both black and white hardware.

Metallic

Metallics carry real flake and depth that flat colors can't fake. On screen they preview as a rich tone; in person the flake moves with the light — expect the cured part to have more life than any photo shows.

On-screen colors are close approximations of the cured finish under neutral light. Real results vary with surface prep, film thickness, and lighting — always confirm with a spray-out panel before committing a job.
