Exporting stencils for laser or vinyl cutter
Any section's pattern can become production files: one layer per color, at true physical scale, ready for LightBurn, Inkscape, Cricut, or Silhouette.

Export → "Laser / stencil export…" and pick the painted section.

Choose the mode: Laser outputs crisp cleaned paths plus black-on-white PNG separations for raster engraving; Stencil cutter outputs smoothed paths a knife can cut; Rotary wrap generates a flat unwrapped rectangle for round parts (see below).

Set the physical scale — most accurate: "Set scale from 2 points on the photo", click two points a known distance apart (a rail, bolt spacing, or the part's full width) and type that distance. Or type the exported area's width directly.

Use the noise-cleanup slider (mm) to fill small holes and drop specks left by reflections or screw heads in the AI selection; set it to 0 to keep every pixel.

Download the layered SVG (one named layer per Cerakote color + a dashed alignment outline) and, in laser/rotary mode, the PNG separations.
The export is the pattern as projected on your photo — truest on flat surfaces like rails, flats, and slides.
Rotary wrap (for parts you image on a rotary attachment): enter the diameter and wrap length and the file comes out at circumference × length, generated straight from the pattern with no photo distortion. Set the 2-point scale first so pattern features match your mockup's physical size.
