Fixing selection edges

Selections auto-sharpen in the background, but for stubborn edges the Refine row and the manual brushes finish the job.

   With a section active, find the Refine row in the Sections panel.

   Grow / Shrink nudges the whole boundary out or in by 2px.

   Smooth rounds off jagged stair-steps; Fill holes closes enclosed gaps (screw holes you want painted, etc.).

   Feather softens the edge for a sprayed-transition look.

   For hand fixes: Brush (B) paints area in, Eraser (E) removes it. [ and ] change brush size.
