Pricing a quote: line items, tax, discounts, expiry
Quotes support real shop pricing: quantity × rate lines, a discount, sales tax, sequential quote numbers, and an expiration date.

In the quote dialog, each line has a label, quantity, and rate — "Mag base plates, 6 × $15" computes itself.

Discount $ comes off the subtotal before tax (shown in green to the customer — it sells).

Tax % prefills from your business settings; adjust per quote if needed.

Valid (days) prints "quote valid through …" and blocks approval after it passes (default 14).

Deposit % sets what's collected at approval.
