The AI won't select the part I want

Usually it's the photo, the detail level, or a job for the box tool. In order of most-fixed-first:

   Press Tab (or use the Fine/Part/Whole pill) — the AI usually HAS your part, just at a different granularity.

2. 2

   Drag a box tightly around the part instead of clicking — this is the fix for black or dark parts (slides, barrels, anodized pieces) where a single click only grabs a highlight or the whole gun. The studio shows a "drag a box" hint when it isn't confident.

3. 3

   Shift+click to add a missed area; Alt/Option+click to drop a grabbed area. Each click teaches the AI where the boundary is, so two or three are often enough to carve a slide from a frame.

4. 4

   Switch the AI model (the "AI:" pill in the top bar) to HQ for cleaner edges on well-lit photos. It does not help with dark or low-contrast parts — use a box for those.

   If the photo is dark or busy, retake it against a plain background with even light — that beats any amount of refining.
